2023 Sizzle Demo Reel

A very good, close friend of mine who is NOT on social media made me this movie above, which we call "Demo Reel" or "Sizzle Reel" in the industry.  I think it's so sweet that someone who doesn't follow socials was able to pull in his resources and compile this surprise of my first post-pandemic jaunt around the world.  What do you think about this compilation of some of my 2023 work life?

A Really Really Good Deal!

If you don't know about this: I can share that, finally, on a PERSONAL level, here's a huge discovery of the year from my new super hip young millennial Personal Assistant Jonathan helping take over managing my life from Irene Cathy. Before I post this publicly, you heard it here FIRST (and on my WhatsApp group).  Because I live on three islands with three different country rules and codes, I love my "couch tv time," but can't be bothered finding which streaming services offer which movie, series, or tv show (new or ancient like Petticoat Junction).  I go to this discovery site and type its name and start watching. Not available?  When I find an Anime or Foreign Title that's not on the site, I type it into "request" and in 24 hours they add it to my account.  And you can DOWNLOAD and SAVE any release to any device and take it with you on the go.  I refuse to keep apple, netflix, hulu, peacock, apple tv, paramount, disney, showtime, hbo, and all those services active when I'm only living in one place a few months to use them.  I want ONE service that works 365.  How much is this service? Sounds too good to be true, and--so far over a year in -- it's NOT. It's about 6 USD per month, less than ONE of what I drink at Starbucks (when I actually enter and drink at Starbucks).  I saw Barbie before it hit planes and the USA, and downloaded Wonka for a long flight before it hit theaters.  Do the trial or do a month and you'll be so convinced, you'll do a year.   Disclosure: though there's a referral program, I gain nothing financially from sharing this with you because I like this service so much I bought the whole year already --I'm that convinced.  Tip: when you buy, your credit card actually buys a "vpn service" but you never use it, you never download it, and you never need it; it's just the name of what you're actually buying so that your credit card doesn't read "every movie ever made anywhere in the history of humanity." Manuel loved it--I told him; he didn't believe me; he texted to tell me how he was halfway through Fellow Travelers already!
