I just finished a whirlwind 47-day nonstop tour from NYC to NYC thinking of some of you and meeting still others of you: from a quick 3 day visit of friends in Capri, Italy in September
for the grape-harvesting festivals there:
Then directly home to NYC from Milan... On the Emirates flight, the Flight Attendants were thrilled to have their first dog onboard a 3-level Airbus A380 flight, so we hung out at the bar across the
Atlantic.
I hit the ground running to set off the fitness tour commencing with Biskit, Yury Rockit, and SuperBetty in Philadelphia where I did the Keynote Address. Did you see it on Facebook? Yury Rockit streamed it LIVE. I enjoyed seeing all my friends returning to SCW Mania from the east coast.
After that show, I flew directly to Phoenix, Arizona for the International Spa
Association where they surprised me with the room drop on the last night there by putting me on the cover of their evening room drop. I didn't know everyone got a copy of the same gift bag on each bed that night, so the next morning when I said "how nice of you to print one with me on it," they said "yes, and the other 2,999 bags we did as well!" I posted that I hadn't been on so many beds in one night in my life! After Phoenix I met up with 3 Hollywood clients and friends before leaving out to Asia for the annual Asiafit Convention, the largest in Asia. I love helping plan that for what seems like 365 days of anticipation each year.
Biskit and I usually make a full month of our visit there and take a house where friends drop in, before, during, and after one of the most fun fitness conventions I ENJOY doing. This year we had a 10th
Anniversary Celebration, and, in honor of that and in honor of Aretha Franklin, I rewrote the words to "Say A Little Prayer" that I did on my second CD and we sang it at the Closing Ceremony! What fun! After the Asian conference, I hung out in Bangkok for a few days w/Biskit and colleagues. Then Biskit and I left for California for #activeaging week for the International Council on Active Aging. That was a hoot w/so many like-minded
individuals and Betty met me who was not far off from celebrating her 89th birthday. (Please remember #superbetty in 3 days on November 11 as that's her real birthday!) Wow. Facebook: Bernadette C. O'Brien After that, a quick trip to Puerto Rico to check on my waiting list status for windows and a few other things for my property meant that I was concluding over 45 days on the road with Biskit, a true record for us. I LOVED
drowning in my bed in Puerto Rico and then in NYC after that. You can see from this pic that life is coming along very well in PR with great weather and materials for rebuilding slowly but surely coming to the island. Although the El Conquistador Resort next door is CLOSED indefinitely (where Betty lives in the winter) my property will be up and running for the first #findLawrencefitCamp guests who come down the 2nd week in
January! Now for November I'm spending time in Mykonos and I'm done w/convention presenting for the month. Instead, I'm spending lots of time online w/my mentoring groups because I've never had such a large turnout of requests.
I'm honored.
The fun and rewarding part of speaking to groups of people all over the world--individually and privately--is to be pertinent and answer questions from those in the trenches needing to know another professional opinion of the best way to go
about business decisions.
