Spring Update from Lawrence!
Hello fitness friends!

Just a quick update for all things Lawrence for the spring.

THANK YOU for your support behind the scenes and on social media.

Coming back from a sabbatical was a joy because of YOU.  I debuted the new Active Aging certification I wrote for SCW at the California Mania outside of LA and enjoyed bringing to life yet another book.  Just when I had finished “Stories of Color” by the holidays, Sara Kooperman asked me if I’d author yet another book for SCW, which included exam and slides and homestudy.  It was a crunch to debut by the spring, but it was fun compiling research on active aging that had been published just in the last 5 years. (I gave out 300 “free hug” certificates to the attendees and 3 people redeemed them.  What do you think about those odds?)
Just a reminder if you know someone who should apply for my fitness Scholarships, click here right on my website.  Our first criteria is that you’ve never attended a fitness convention in the last 5 years, if ever.
Many of you have asked if you should take it live with me at an scwfit.com program or get the online homestudy, and I say “do the latter” because:

1. it includes all the downloadable dvds with no further upsell AND
2. it allows you one year to take the live course anywhere I offer it on scwfit.com.

The course comes with over 3.5 hours of downloadable videos and feature Bernadette SuperBetty O’Brien in every video.

The book Stories of Color and optional CD “Songs that I Chose” are still doing well on the market; thanks for your support.  This is what I need to be successful for the projects of 2016 for the nuns and their outreach projects I want to support.

FitCamp in Puerto Rico has been in full swing in every month this year and, for the first time since it began, I’ve had waiting lists which shows that the word really has spread.  The only cancellation I’ve had is for the week starting April 4 with one space, so—though it’s unlikely—if you want to get in, call me! 917-873-5683.

I love doing clips and videos of some of my fitCampers…they never realized how possible it was to have their own releases for their clients and classes—whether to have to give-away—until fitCamp made it possible.  Outstanding return fitCampers like Theresa Estill cried with emotion at seeing her first videos come to life, fulfilling a wish over a decade in the making.

Biskit continues to be the charm in my life who shows me the meaning of “unconditional love” on a daily basis.
I truly owe so much to the experiences we’ve shared thus far together, and try not to take them for granted.  You may not know that, when we can, we swim together for a minimum of 30 minutes per day.  During Lent, I was inspired during one of our swims to write a modern-day rewrite of the traditional “Our Father.”  I’m not sure I’d post it, but I would include it in my updates here if you’re interested.

Are you on Instagram?  I have come to love it because sometimes a photo can speak so much about the human condition…I also post those same photos on Twitter if you’re following “findlawrence” on either one.
PowerMusic1 just released a brand new CD I created for them: Active Aging.  With their app, it’s included at 14.00 for the month, and instead of using that amount to purchase 1 CD, you can now access ALL of their CDs for that one monthly price and see all the clickmixes and CDs I’ve created for them over the years.  This new compilation features “Stand By Me” and “Hustle” and many more fun tunes that transcend the old-fashioned definition of what “senior” music was like.
One of my favorite teas in the world is the low-priced PG Tips from the UK.  Recently, Walgreens began selling them, making them a reality!  Would you believe that an order we placed online from NYC took SIX WEEKS to get to Puerto Rico?  Do you know this tea?  We call it “builder’s tea” in the UK because you offer it to the handymen and “builders” that come to your house to do things since it’s inexpensive, but strong.  I LOVE it.
Have you seen the latest edition of The Good Grapevine, Season 1, Episode 3?  If so, please comment on my facebook page or on the YouTube page itself and tell us who your favorite story is from this edition….
My suspicion is that “Billy” takes the cake for this episode, or Noel’s face at biting into his first real chocolate easter-egg with runny “yolk.”

That's it for this update, stay in touch!

Namaste.
